Training
Whether you’re aiming to run your very first 5km or are an experienced runner looking to advance to a longer distance, the training process can be extremely daunting, especially if you don’t know where to start.
We recommend finding and following a training program in the lead up to your race as this will take the guess work out of your preparation and give you the structure and guidance you need to be able to run the required distance on race day.
By following a program designed by experienced an running coach or professional, you’ll be able to gradually build your strength, speed and endurance while allowing yourself enough time to rest, reducing the risk of injury.
